Cold and flu season has hit the university more than usual. Some people load up on cold medication and head into work despite feeling miserable. Not me. It’s hard to be glamorous when I’m coughing, sneezing, and have a trash can filled with tissues for others to see! So far I’ve avoided getting sick but if I do, I am fortunate enough to have paid sick days and I’m going to take advantage of them at the slightest hint of a sniffle. A cute bed jacket, cups of tea, and a good book or Netflix for a few days are the perfect remedy for the flu.
