The Mister was doing research for a post about animation on his Drawing a Day blog when he came across this 1953 Disney educational film about the history of musical instruments. I was upstairs folding laundry when I heard the great music coming from the home office (you hear everything when you live in a cottage!). I just had to share it with you, too!
I love the music and the animation but do keep in mind before you watch it that there is some serious stereotyping going on in the film near the end. I’m glad that our culture has (mostly) moved beyond thinking that these stereotypes are okay or funny.
