After 20+ years as a special education teacher, an educational psychology professor–teaching education students how to be school teachers, and a university administrator–teaching professors and graduate students how to be college teachers, I’m making a career change: Trying to live like my grandmother Lois (1908-1979) in a modern world.
I’ve always been fascinated with home economics and old movies. At heart, I am really just an old-fashioned woman who somehow was born in the wrong era.
This blog is devoted to my adventures in trying to live like my grandmother in the 21st century. Of course, the teacher in me wants to share what I’ve learned along the way.
