Cool - I did subsribe to the feeds! The nice thing about the 'disqus' comment moderator is that it e-mails you all the comments related to any blog post - you have to subsribe to one at a time if you are interested. I like it but it may not be for everyone. for someone who checks e-mail a lot but not always at the computer it is good. Thanks, Ann

Thanks, Kathy. The thing about me is that I'm willing to give my ideas a try and if it doesn't work out, at least I know I tried. But the Betty Crocker site never really caught on...and part of the reason, I think, is that it felt disconnected from the journey.

Ann, I think you can subscribe by clicking on the link for the RSS Comments in the "Meta" section at the bottom of the sidebar. When I click on it, it takes me to my Google Reader page to subscribe. I will look into seeing if there is also a way to provide a link at the bottom of the posts so you can be selective on which conversations you want to join.

Hi Ann! Hi Julie!

Julie, I so applaud this decision to move the recipes back to "Modern Retro Housewife." Don't get me wrong -- you have such wonderful ideas -- but I agree that it felt like cooking had disappeared from the retro journey. Thank you for bringing it back!

Cool! I don't know how, but I did not know about the Betty Crocker blog, I only saw the Sewing Cabinet blog on the left untill today, but I will enjoy reading about the recipes.

Dr. Julie - is there a way to subscribe to comments on your posts? I have seen "discus" on another blog, but I think it is a blogger one, just wondering if I am missing something.

Thanks,
