Thank You, Mr. Linkletter

I was saddened to learn that Art Linkletter has passed away.  He was so full of vitality that I guess I assumed he would live forever.  Mr. Linkletter is most famous for interviewing children under 10 years old.  You might say his shows were among the first reality shows…but they really were reality in its finest!  You never knew what those kids were going to say.  He collected the children’s responses into several books.  Although his House Party show was off the air by the time I was able to read, I do remember sitting at my grandparents’ house reading his books and finding them funny.
