Merry Christmas to my wonderful reader-friends. I will be taking a few days off from writing to spend time with my family and to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary.
I looked at a lot of Christmas-themed clips to share with you but I kept returning to this one: Linus reciting from Luke, Chapter 2. In our family, it is a tradition that the youngest child who is able to read, reads this passage as part of our celebration. It always brings back memories of learning it at school (I attended Christian schools K-12) and reciting it at the Christmas pageant. It was always an electrifying moment in the sanctuary and, like Mary, I cherish it in my heart and ponder over it.
