In today’s entry, we have a chance to remind ourselves that the past should not be romanticized. While this cartoon is poking fun at what is on people’s minds in 1945, it also portrays some cultural nastiness that, unfortunately, we haven’t completely moved beyond. That said, this is a fun cartoon with a lot of cultural references related to the World War II era.
